James Lewis Chartered Surveyors was formed in 2009 by James Lewis BSc. (Hons) MRICS FFPWS. We specialise in all types of party wall issues.

James qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1998 and is the Managing Director of James Lewis Chartered Surveyors.
Prior to setting up his own company, James worked in private practice, predominantly at Associate Directorship level gaining a wide level of experience in professional and contract administration related work. James currently specialises in party wall matters and is a member of the Pyramus & Thisbe Club and a Fellow (Chairman of the Surrey Branch) of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors, which are both recognised organisations promoting party wall excellence.

As a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), James Lewis Chartered Surveyors is an impartial, independent, insured and regulated practice adhering to strict codes of conduct and professional values.
We pride ourselves in having the necessary experience in being able to competently deal with all types of party wall issues and have very efficient systems in place, which enable us to offer competitive fees, whilst at the same time maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
Predominantly covering the London and Surrey geographical areas, our knowledge in this complex field has been recognised by numerous developers, architects and project managers, who have appointed us as their retained party wall surveyor.
